The association offers financial support for the publication of two theses per year, with an allocation of €3,000 per thesis.
Theses may be from different domains and cover a period from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. They must be written in French.

- reports on its website more than 4,000 scientific studies freely available on the Internet,
- conducts research projects, bringing together researchers from different disciplines and institutions,
- organizes interdisciplinary and international symposia,

- informs of current events in the field on its website and in its newsletter.
